Welcome to our Mercian Team page
Our BDRC Mercian teams are open to everyone who is willing to have a go. We are a grassroots riding club and we pride ourselves on our approachability and team spirit for all our members of any levels.
Teams are open to all abilities and ages (yes our Junior members can compete too). The club will contribute towards the entry fee towards a class for a Mercian team entry, please note that a withdrawal may result in you being liable for the full cost. Any additional classes a rider wishes to enter will be at the cost of the rider.
** Note – restrictions may apply to some classes depending on what the horse/rider combination have done previously in the competition calendar.
On competition days, we have a variety of supporters who come to cheer on the teams. We also have a selection of club kit to use on the day.

Message from our Mercian Team Captain: “2022 was our most successful year ever in the Mercian league where we were the champions. We had an amazing year and so many of our riders progressed through the year. Team support is never short when we are out competing as team green and we are hoping that this year will be just as successful and fun for everyone that takes part.”
